I bought a boston whaler two years ago and it came with a 1982 75 hp Evinrude motor. When I got the boat, the ignition worked for starting the engine but I have a bunch of extra wires on the ignition side that are capped off or have toggle switches that are not being used. I would like to know if anybody has a picture or a diagram they could send me so I can figure this out. I assume some of the wires would be used for lights, horn, power trim, radio,... I would appreciate any help that anybody could offer. Thanks Ken

The wires you are describing sound like optional installs by the previous owner(s).
No one here will know what they are except you once you figure them out.
Start taking all the extra wires and switches out you don't need.

I might have not stated my question correctly. I am looking to find what the original wires that are connected to the ignition switch are used for. There are eight original wires leading to the ignition switch. If someone had a schematic or or a resource I could use to identify the set-up it would be very much appreciated. Thanks Ken
