I have no lines or connectors now and need to know what sizes I need to order.

My motors are all OMC, Johnson and Evinrude and all have the same fittings at the engine. I have a few different tanks and all have different connectors I want to standardize.
The Tempo tank has a fatter fuel outlet than the Moeller which is the same as all the engine connectors.

I also need to buy primer bulbs and fuel line and I see it in both 3/8" and 5/16" sizes.

I think I can order the standard OMC connectors for the tanks with 1/4" NPT threads. The line to tank and line to motor connectors will also be the standard OMC but what size line should I be buying, 3/8 or 5/16 and how long do I need for a CC Montauk with the tank under the RPS? The boat is stored away for the winter and I never did get a measurement for this.

Hi, go with the 3/8" hose and fittings. Make sure that the fittings are full flow 3/8" on the inside.

Gamalot,

Take a look in the Article section under Outboard Motors and Rigging.
In there you can take a look at Rob's article on "Montauk 17' Rigging Lengths".
http://www.whalercentral.com/articles...?cat_id=10

That should give you a general idea.

One other word of advice, I recently needed some additional fittings for my OMC rig, I bought the Moeller male and female connectors. The females don't "snap" on as well as the OEM OMC ones do.
