If they are like the one I purchased on Ebay, they're only an imitation of a BW bow light.

The fit of the light to the deck is not good. It needs to be "shimmed" to fit over the rub rail.

The lens just floats free in the housing. It is not water tight.

The 2 included attachment bolts are not long enough to attach the light.

The fixture has iron in it (attracts a magnet), and not chrome over bronze like the original BW light.

But... they are way less money than the BW light.

...other than that they're great! :)

EDIT: just looked at Ebay. The parts offered are only for the metal cover for the lens, not for a complete bow light.

You are correct about no lens, but these are the original and not the Perko replacement...............just wanted to mention it in the event someone was looking for one

FWIW Perko still makes a replacement lens that will fit the original light assembly. It is LENS Cat. No. 0296DPOLNS. ($9.50 in Hawaii) The only difference is the replacement has no holes for the two small screws that hold on the light assembly. I suggest not drilling but using a piece of 3/16 brass tubing and heating it and melting the holes in the correct place. The plastic is rather brittle and I cracked all the ones I tried to drill on the green side. You could probably heat a drill bit if you can't get the tubing.

There are at least 2 different lenses on the Classic series lights.

Please see the Photo Galleries for photos and description, both of which are located on our site:
