New to the site! Looking into purchasing a set of cushions for my newly acquired 1989 13' Super Sport. Can anyone recommend which cushions are a better value or are they both the same? Nautical Lumber or Specialty Marine?
What's the best configuration? Do the rear backrests take up too much room?

I can tell you Nautical Lumber's are produced by Whaler's OEM manufacture with the OEM Vinyl and Piping. I have no idea who makes Spacialty's.
Also, A back rest is will worth the addition and adds a lot comfort. I certainly enjoyed the one on my old 15 super sport.

How do they attach? Do they use some sort of strap or do you have to mount snaps in the boat? I don't want to be cruising and chasing floating cushiness! I'm especially curious about the bow cushion.

As do Nautical's. This is the way there were installed originally. I will say do not trailer the boat at highway speeds with them in the boat. I lost one on my 15 Super Sport.
