Anyone know where to get a replacement steering shaft for a 1969 13 ft? I've searched the internet with no luck and I haven't been able to find any salvage areas. Thanks.

seen a steering wheel and shaft assembly on Ebay last night for a 13 footer. The seller was located in NH.It was listed under boat parts section.good luck

Just checked Ebay...it's still for sale item number 1805588888877 Titled "steering wheel assembly from classic Boston Whaler 13' " Still has 2 days/2 hours until auction ends.

After a long break and long soak with liquid wrench - still no budging. I went for broke. Clamped the shaft in my vice, took 2 hammers and hit the underside of the wheel simultaneously. Popped off with the 3rd smack. No damage. Thanks Robert for the ebay tip. Made me feel better knowing I could replace if needed.
