Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: 1985 Montauk cover for floor tunnel?

The tunnel where all the cables and wires exit at the rear near the motor has four holes (as if one at each corner) that would seem to be for a cover plate that would partially cover the opening. Anyone know a source for that cover? Were they wood or fiberglass on the 85 Montauk?
Thanks everybody.

NE , my Montauk is missing the "Sump Cover" as well. I found drawings in the download section on the left side of your screen.Go to parts drawings. I have seen them made from wood and starboard. BG

Thank you. I just found that drawing also. Maybe I will try to make one.

I made mine out of starboard and it works well. Make sure to leave enough room to get to the plug!

I put screws in the four holes to keep the water out of the core and left the cover off.
