I was sitting on the Ches. Bay beach a short walk from my house, watching my boys play in the miniwaves. This summer there has been a newish Nantucket 190 and what I think may be an old 16SL dual console anchored off the sand bars some weekends. I was lamenting the fact that I have been just too busy to get my ribside in the water this summer.

I gaze out over the Bay and way off in the distance see what looks like a smirked hull Whaler coming directly at us. I take note and look back toward the boys.

A few minutes later I look back and there I see a '71-'72 Outrage (III I believe as it had a fiberglass console). It cruises by, turns around, and pulls up to a pound net that lines up w/ the next street over. A woman aboard throws a cast net for a while for baitfish. It then returns from where it came from. It was running small twins (possibly Yamahas) and had a Blue after market Bimini.

700 or so made and here is one off my beach a quarter mile from where mine sits on a trailer. Anyone know this boat?

Man I gotta get to work on mine. -Mark
