I have 1982 13' whale with a 1982 35hp Evinrude. I live at 9000' and do most of my boating at around 7500'-9000'. Does anyone have any thoughts on what a suitable prop size would be?
Also I could use some help with the carb set up for this altitude.
Thank you..

What is your max RPM's now at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) ?
What size prop are you using now?
For High Altitude Jets, consult your nearest Evinrude dealer.

Im kind of new to outboard motors.
I dont know what the rpms are. I dont have any gauges.
The prop is a 10x13.
My one one local evinrude dealer is a little tricky. Denver CO is an hour away and almost 4000' lower so going to a dealer down there would be sort of a last resort.
Im thinking about gettinga work shop manual and trying to do some tinkering myself.
Thanks
