I have been going crazy spending way to much time to try and find a hatch/entry door into the cuddy on my 1989 Sentry. I contacted the comercial division directly and they can be no hope it appears they have no records before 1997. The hatch cutout is 30" High and 19-1/2" Wide with a 1/2" flange. Mine is totally missing, if anyone knows who made the hatch orginally or where I can source a replacment, or even a direction to head it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just make one (or have one made) out of the material of your choice. It should be an easy project. You are not going to find anything off-the-shelf.

+1 to what Tom said. Work with it and custom make one. It's not that hard to do. Teak, Mahagony,Alum. frame and lexan door.... Oh the options to customize to a one-of-a-kind.

Thats really way more work then I want to put in, I was hoping to find just the simple plastic watertight hatch thats was in there to begin with. I bought a boston whaler becuase I thought parts would be generally easy to find, but that seems quite the oppisite. I don't see how its an easy project as making a frame thats 2D would be quite difficult from anything other then wood, which would not really fit with the style of the boat. Are there compaines out there that sell frame kits that I could cut to fit? Anyone have any links to some how toos?

I'd look at Perko first. Check arround the Baltimore, Annapolis area as well.
