I recently bought a Montauk and stripped it down to restore it. When I removed the bow light there were no wires ran to it? I do not see any holes to run a wire back to the console. Please help me with how this wire is normally ran. I do not see any chases to fishes it thru.......
On mine the wires go through the hull on the port rear quarter and then run into the rubrail. My rub rail is a two piece and the outer rubber portion hides the wires as they run to the bow of the boat. Then when the wire gets to the bow directly under the center of the bow light the wires reenter the hull behind the rub rail and come out the light hole. To replace these wires you must at least remove the outer rubber rub rail.
