Hey Guys,
I have a 1971 16' Whaler. I'm not sure on the model. It could be a Nauset. There is a guy on ebay selling side rails and bow rails for a 1987 Montauk. Do you think these will fit my boat?

I bought a bow rail from a 1978 smirked hull for my 1973 non-smirk and it fit but not perfect. The newer hulls bow rail has a bend in it on the forward two legs that was not needed on the older hull so it works but it is not period correct. There is a bow rail from a 1963 in the classifieds here and that would fit correctly. It was advertised in November but they still may be available.
