I've recently come across a partially used 2 oz jar of this paste in the color I need. It appears to be a year old. Spectrum tells me it only has a shelf life of a year.
I'm curious if anyone has experience in using this product at this age or in revitalizing it.
Peter,
If it stills has a paste quality to it, I would try it. I have used a lot of Spectrum paste in the last month. Make sure that you have a vasoline consistency after you add the hardner and try it. If it doesn't work, you can buy another jar. I found that covering the repair with wax paper greatly improves the final result.
Good luck,
Jack
Jbarrow,
Your term "vasoline consistency" is a great help.
I chuckle at your comment "buy anotehr jar" because the shipping cost into Canada is more than the original cost US. Then add our taxes , $ exchange etc nonsense
A 16.95 jar becomes $ 50.00 Canadian. This is why I'm so keen to make this jar work!
