I just purchased a near mint 1967 sakonnet and would like to fabricate one or two of those locking rod boxes that were options on the 1960,s nauset and sakonnet.I have seen plenty of pictures of them in old catalogs but never in person.I saw one on craigslist that I could have used for a template but did not inquire as I did not own the boat yet.I downloaded the nice blueprints from this site but the two pieces that hold the rods and are very curvey don't have dimensions.are these two drawings supposed to be enlarged and used as templates?anyone have any experince with these rod boxes?any input may help,thanks tom from ma.
