I just reinstalled my RPS after varnishing it. I'm now looking at the z legs and thinking they need attention. Any advice?

Have any of you guys painted or polished them?

Clean then rub with penetrol. Works great. You can find it in the painting section of your home improvement store. Its normally used to mix with paint to reduce brush marks.

I cleaned a set that were weathered to a chalky white. I had to scrape it down with paint scrapers and such. a couple of coats of the penetrol and they looked really good.

Thanks guys. I finished varnishing my teak this weekend. I'll put it all back on this week and hit the z legs with the penetrol next weekend. That should do it in getting her ship shape for the Thanksgiving trip to Toledo Bend.

Thanks for the help.
