Steering wheels

Member Personal Page Posts: 8 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/21/09	Own a 1970 13' Sport - question is, Did they make a stainless steel steering wheel for this model? I hate the plastic one that is currently on the boat...takes away from it's looks...any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Member Personal Page Posts: 1827 Comments: 10 Joined: 01/08/06	I used to have the Teleflex sport wheel with a stand off bracket on my 15'. It was "Very" responsive, I liked it a lot (it rusted through). I switched over to the "Destroyer" type wheel with a spinner knob, and the NFB steering sys.. It's less responsive but, safer as we now have "Little Hand's" grabbing for the wheel all the time. Matt
