Member Personal Page Posts: 2012 Comments: 0 Joined: 12/19/05	Many folks don`t realize that cable and pulley steering systems are the safest systems around becuase they can easily be inspected for wear and problems. It is the only type of systems used on outboard race boats for this reason, and some of these boats will go over 100 mph. They also are the best feeling systems and engine torque is not a factor. Here is a pic. of the back end of my 13 footer, with cable and pulley steering.
