The U S S New York a San Antonio-class amphibious dock vessel left the Avondale shipyard New Orleans this morning to be commissioned in her namesake city. She carry's 7.5 tons of World Trade Center steel in her bow. Was hit by Katrina in her early days of construction. I am proud to have once worked at Avondale Shipyard. May she sail safe and take our pain to our foe's.

I think there are ports in Saudi Arabia. That`s where the 9-11 bombers and Bin Laden came from.

I'm thankful there's no ports in Afghanistan /Pakistan region. Remember the USS COLE. And we did nothing about IT.

I was thinking of the irony if the USS New York with steel from the WTC could put a hurting on Bin Laden and the Taliban.

TechTeach I met no disrespect to you or the original poster Tharsheblows... and to anyone that lost there lives / loved ones in the WTC.

We will need a little more leadership than we have now to get Bin Laden. Let me say I will drive five miles out of my way so I don't have to make a left hand turn.
