I have a 1965 13' sport that I am redoing. It still has the original runrail, and it is in great shape. It has some discolration tho. Does anyone know how to remove this rust and age discoloration so that I can keep the original in place?
Thanks
George

Toluene is a good solvent to use on white vinyl and other plastics. It takes some elbow grease but it will not harm the rub rail. Finish up with some 303 Protectant.
If you want to replace the rub rail, that same original extrusion is still available from Hamilton Marine.
