Does anyone know how to remove this rust and age discoloration so that I can keep the original in place? Thanks George 13' 1965 sport, 1977 35 hrs johnson seahorse

Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	George, Toluene is a good solvent to use on white vinyl and other plastics. It takes some elbow grease but it will not harm the rub rail. Finish up with some 303 Protectant. If you want to replace the rub rail, that same original extrusion is still available from Hamilton Marine. Edited by Tom W Clark on 10/12/09 - 11:56 AM
