On my 1991, I replaced both with a Perko unit with a adjustable dome style lamp base last year. Perko Stern light With only 2 seasons, I see the base finish is already pitting. I recommend a quality Perko item like this Perko Chrome over Brass Stern Light w/base

Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 09/24/09	Thanks for the reply. There is already a slot and plug for the pole, wired, powered, etc with a cover that is fitted into the stern. The issue is that the plastic light cover and bulb are both broken and need replacing. The bulb corroded the socket and so I believe the socket needs replacing as well... the usual chain of events on a boat.
