As the progress on my 1974 Montauk resto/refurb project is coming to an end, as the summer just did, I needed a new windshield. There are a lot of plastics companies in South Fl. I called most all of them, everyone was $250 to $400, and everyone was 2 to 3 weeks out. On the Hull Truth website, I read about someone in the Carolinas recommending a company called Cesany Plastics. The guy was thrilled with the quality of the windshield he got for his Contender. I went there, met the owner, Allen, and dropped off my windshield at 2:30 p.m. if I tell you he called me at 10:00 A.M. to come pick it up, and it was only $135.00, tinted!!! I then hired him to make my fwd. anchor hatch cover and a rear bench seat out of his non-skid starboard. 15" x 59 7/8", and he only charged me $200.00 for both!!!My welder made me a reinforcing bar with legs, and the boat is getting rewired and rigged as we speak. My wife's summer surprise Montauk may not come till Labor day, but it will come...As soon as I figure out how to set up pictures, I will post them. This site has been the best resource for me and I felt the need to share my great experience with my fellow Whaler enthusiasts. I am waiting on my estimate on the custom console doors...

Sounds like a great shop. Where are they located?

Thanks for sharing the good experience.

They are in Fort Lauderdale. If you Google Cesany Plastics or go to yachtwindows.com , you will find them. I couldnt be happier with them, and am anxious for my quote on the console doors. While I was there, I saw templates for every piece of marine electronics in the industry, and people had shipped them from overseas Bomar deck hatches. They rebuild them. They are defintely a good outfit.
