I work with boat maintenance and now i´m thinking to start in the boatbuilding market; for this job, i´m looking for this hull plans to build on my shipyard (if is necessary, i´ll ask for a building license with the owner of the US patent)
If someone have this drawings to provide me a copy of them, please be so kind to contact me
I´ll apreciate a lot and will be very tankfull to this person
Regards to all of you

Cathedral hull boats were very popular in the 1960's thru the mid '80's. I don`t think anyone builds this design anymore. As far as plans for a cathedral hull boat I ave found Glen-L ( company that sell boat plans and kits) has a nice looking 15 footer called the PLAY PEN. \
Here is a link to Glen L

I will try to find a link to the Play Pen for you and make another post.

Think about this. I assume you want to build fiberglass boats. If you buy plans then you have to build one from wood to use as a mold, then you have to build a plug over the mold. then you are ready to build boats. This is alot of work.

Cathedral hulls are everywhere in boat yards and boat junk yards and behind people's homes. they don`t have much value anymore. Why not fly to Tampa, spend a week and find the boat you like. You can get the from next to free to 4 or 5 hundred dollars. then ship it back to Brazil, Don`t worry about a licence, Most of these old boat builders are out of business.
Flying to the USA from Brazil must be easy. the governor of our state of South Carolina does it often. Don`t forget you need a passport. I wish you well on your endeavor, something i have always wanted to do myself.

My Friend,
I know i can buy for very cheap value an older model of this boat in USA, but the major problem is to delivery here...
The shipment and handling costs are very expensive (US$ 65/kg), plus the aduana taxes(around 100%)
For example, if i buy one of this boats for US$ 100 (it´s kind a gift), i have to pay around US$ 2000 (within taxes, freight and others)
Yes, i intend to build in fiberglass, it´s a reality use an old hull to mold a new one; it´s what i plan too, but the costs aremore expensive than buy the plans and build a brand new plug, mold and hull (correct me if i´m wrong)
it´s only aceitable to expend money to import if i can get one of these hulls for free, to reduce the shipping costs and taxes
Let´s do the following, let´s keep us in touch.. maybe one of these days i phone you when arrive US to do this; meanwhilw, let´s tallking about
Regards
WARNING- I´m a ownboss worker, i also have all time in the world (and pleasure) to talk about boats and their equipments

something between 18 and 23 ft long, this size because i wish to build a 3 versions boat {one fully open, one walkaround version (here we call walkaround a sportfisher with cabin under the bow deck) and a cabin version) with the same hull
Because this i´m intend to build a cathedral hull, because the bigger width on the beam measures
Regards
