hello

my name is patrick garnier , i leave in the north west coast of France , i m a new member .
I have the intention to buy locally an outrage vintage 1981 ;
the identivication plate shows type V 24 .
Can somebody tell me the difference if any on this particular year of 1981 between a V24
and a V25 ???

The 25 Outrage was originally called the V-24 Outrage when it was introduced. There is no difference between the V-24 Outrage and the 25 Outrage.

another question : the vessel is motorised with 2 mercury 150 hp super ultra long of
1989 , the transom has been heighthned of abt 5" . My intention is to equip the boat
with a single Yamaha 250hp ultra long 4 strokes , and i was thinking to fit the engine
on a jack plate and i was rather seducted by the jpporta with a set back of 21 or 23" ,
it seems more easy to adapt than a bracket and more polyvalent .
what do yu think ? They are very raely used in europe .
