many thanks to everyone that supplied their wisdom on a rub rail fix. i completed it this last weekend and my boat is now back to one piece and ready for the Beaufort water festival. a special thanks has to go to TimH who gladly shipped me a piece of his rub rail so i could complete my project. this is a great site. there is so much information in WC and the members are so knowledgeable. thanks all. john.
