The holders on my outrage 18 project were all rotten having been replaced once and remade from plywood.I used the plans on this site to build new under-gunnel rod holders out of Mahogany and they came out like new. An orbital jigsaw, some sanding and a few coats of oil was all it took. Probably 4-5 hours work.
