What type of tubing can be used for making the console rod holders? I checked out pvc tubing at the local hardware store and schedule 40 appears to be too thick. Can heat be used to flare the tops?
The drawing states 200 PSI PVC tubing. Schedule 40 is much too thick.
The 200 PSI is identical in thickness to the original tubes and can be flared.
All the information you need is on this site. Here is a photo of the original Console Rod Holders that are located in the OEM Parts Photos section: http://www.whalercentral.com/photogal...?photo=316
