On my 2016 Vantage 270, I have a 12V Refrigerator but do not have the electric grill option. Since there is no electric grill, the boat does not have a shore power hook-up, just a battery charging system.

My question to the forum is, how do I keep the 12V Refrigerator cold when the boat is not operating? My thought is that since the boat does have a battery charging system, I should keep the house battery ON when the boat is not in operation to power the refrigerator, and the charging system will keep the batteries fully charged.

Any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
