Merc prop - black prop some pitting

Any thoughts re pitting on prop? Should one smooth it out... Leave it alone... Some thoughts short of replacing it.

It's up to you. Presumably it's a black, painted, aluminum prop. I doubt the pits are affecting performance at all. If they annoy you, fill them with auto body filler, sand, and repaint.

Only you can decide if it's worth it - personally, I'd chuck it and get a stainless prop.

Sure, put it on the list of things to worry about with your Whaler. You might be losing 1/2 MPH at top speed.
