Hello everybody. I apologize for asking a question that probably have been asked several times, but I need a quick answer.
I am repowering my Montauk 190 2011 with a brand new Mercury 150 Fourstroke.
The dealer is asking me what kind of size of the propeller I prefer...
I have no answer apart that I have been told that Enertia 17 pitch is the standard choice.
Let me say that I do not need great speed as a Montauk 190 with a 150Hp engine is already at the upper limit.
I mainly use the boat to fish at low speeds and from time to time I cruise at 15-20 knots (maximum), only occasionally I try to go faster, but this is the exception.
I prioritize also cosumption and, really, I need only a standard propeller, not a special one.
This said...any advice?
Thank you so much.
