Getting my stuff together for end-of-season maintenance (sad isn't it - but this is Maine) and I read that my new engine uses 5.5 QUARTS for the oil change.
Is this a misprint? I might believe 5.5 Pints. If it's really quarts, where does it go?
Now that I look at the location of the oil drain plug (way down just above the lower unit), quarts makes sense - there must be a very large sump in there.
