Ok, so i go to start my boat. It ran fine last time just a couple of months ago, Now it wont idle. Pulled the plugs and had water on them. Its a 1999 yamaha 2 stroke. So being an auto mechanic i figure no big deal, pull the head. Bottom head bolt is frozen and no amount of heat is getting it out. tried drilling it out ,no luck and noticed that its pitted from water jacket through to bolt. Not sure if its even repairable. Now i figure i should just change the powerhead. Lots of remans on internet. Can anybody specify a reputable one or a reputable rebuilder in southern Louisiana?
