It could be the non-BIA standard pattern. Review the articles on Engine Rigging Height and Bolts Holes here: http://www.whalercentral.com/articles...?cat_id=10 One method to get around filling and redrilling holes for non-standard pattern it to use a 0 setback jackplate.

Even after being told specific instructions. Evinrude dealers are no different and this includes Portland Yacht Services. I have no experience with Yarmouth Boat Yard.
