Hello,
I just received a 1971 13' whaler. The motor is a Evinrude 2006 50hp 2 stroke. I noticed the day after it was delivered that the lower cover is cracked on both sides. Looks like 600-700 dollars to replace 2 pieces of plastic ,ugh. Any help would be great. TIA
I don't know much... but I know how to google.
It is made of Geloy:
acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA).
A common thermoplastic used for products like hot tubs and exterior plastic automotive panels and bumper covers.
Ask a automotive auto body place if they would fix it.
