Member Posts: 37 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/16/15	I am in the process of tooling up for my "new" 90 HP Mercury, and only grease gun in the house was a yard sale find, I think. So, new grease gun shopping, mainly for motor pivot points, swivel pin, steering... - 3 oz size with cartridge, or 14 oz fill-as-needed? - straight tube? - swivel nozzle? I am thinking NAPA or such, paying attention to build quality. Bad idea? Other: Anybody know what type of grease is Mercury's 2-4-C, and if it is compatible with the better 101? I had one for marine grease and a second for trailer bearing grease. Each tube would last 2 years. I had good success with the NAPA stores that had a marine section.

Member Posts: 59 Comments: 0 Joined: 09/13/07	one thing I learned about grease guns is don't cheap out. they always broke on my until I bought a good gun. I just have one big one filled with starbrite wheel bearing grease. its a marine grease so I use it on just about everything. HTR
