A 20hp motor is maximum for a Classic 13' model with tiller steering. A brand new 110 tiller model has a 15hp motor. What are you wanting to do with this 11' model.

Member Personal Page Posts: 147 Comments: 1 Joined: 05/22/11	I had a 30 Yamaha on mine back in the late 80s! That made for a fast and wild little boat! If you have one of the new style hulls, the tiller steering tender version is only rated for a 15 hp engine, but the one with the steering wheel (110 Sport) is rated for a 25 hp. So the hull could handle a bigger engine...I guess Whaler doesn't think you can handle steering a bigger one by hand... Which is odd because Mercury will sell you a tiller steered 150 hp engine.
