Hey guys- I am in the process of purchasing a 70 lb Minnkota Ipilot Powerdrive for my 2003 160 Dauntless. I told Bass Pro to order the 60 inch shaft (instead of the 54 inch). I'm sure the 54 would suffice, but I will be boating on southern Lake Michigan and thought the 60 would be better.

What do you guys think?
