Tomorrow morning at 0500 my brother in law Matt and I are headed to Tahsis, BC to fish our butts off!
I will be towing his Outrage 25 to Port Angeles, WA then cross the Straits of Juan de Fuca on the Black Ball Express ferry to Victoria, BC. From there we head to Campbell River, then head west to Gold River. From Gold River its about 1.5 hours of gravel road to Tahsis.
We have moorage and a house reserved. A couple of friends of ours are taking an Invader 24 and traveling with us.
We will be fishing for chinook and coho salmon as well as ling cod and halibut. Unfortunately some stormy weather has been in the area. Here's hoping that it calms down before we get there.
