Can anyone tell me just how far aft of the 150 Montauk's transom (or the 150 Super Sport's transom) the 60 hp O/B extends when the engine is trimmed to vertical and not turned at an angle?

Thanks.

Ron C.

Ron I just read your message and will let you know tonight after I measure it.
I assume you mean back of ransom from where the motor is mounted or next to the side of the motor from transom to aft end of motor. ie centerline of motor?

I use 2' as a general rule when discussing storage.

For a boat on a trailer, take the LOA, add 2 feet for the engine and 2' for the tongue.

A trailered 15' boat on a trailer has a LOA of ~ 19'

Thanks, Phil and E-J.

And yes, E-J, I am trying to determine just how far aft of the transom the 60 hp bigFoot Merc would extend when the engine is in the vertical position and not turned to one side or the other. I appreciate learning what your measurement comes to. Thanks.

Ron
