hello out their,
my grandfather has recently giving me a 78' montauk ( at lest that's what the title says)it is set up like the striper. the old whaler has sat in the blistering sun of AZ until my grand dad gave it to me. all the wood needs to be replaced. that is ware i have some questions that i am having a hard time trying to find info, this whaler has a wooden side console. i am hope that i can get old whaler back to it's prime self again. any help would be greatly appreciated.
See if you can identify your model from any of the above photos in those links.
You should be able to just replace all the wood and then your boat will be restored.
thanks for the pics, but the boat that i have looks nothing like that. i have a solid wooden console, their are two single seats and the front of the console has a bench seat. and a their is a electric motor on the bow and a 6hp trolling motor on the aft along with the 90hp main motor. thanks for the help.
