I'm in desperate need of a boat cover for my 1999 18' Dauntless. I'm tired of rigging up tarps and other boat covers that don't fit right. I've looked at a few manufacturer's websites online, but none show the cover on a Dauntless; they're all on a generic center console boats. I've seen covers that go over the bow rails, and I've seen some that leave the bow rails exposed. I would really like to buy one that is custom fit for my boat that way I know I won't have to worry about water pooling and tearing the cover. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I got one at wallmart for a little over a 100.00.
Needs a few surports added but does the job.
Up front close to the bow you need to put a cooler there to help drain the water an also add a cooler on top of the rear seat.Hope this helps.
