I got mine from West Marine.

dcalvano,
There were only two types that I am aware of.
1. Plastic
2. Brass
Photos and information are available in the Part Photos link on the left sidebar.
Brass is the replacement for the plastic version.

Thanks for bringing this topic up. My doors both pop open in rougher water and it's bugged me so much I keep them locked, which is a hassle to get anything, plus my fire ext is in there. For whatever reason I forget once I'm home.
I ordered "cabinet catches" here, size 1-11/16", for $2.95 each set

2 sets + priority USPS = $11.95

I recentily replaced my brass latch on my 1991 Montauk. The doors still pop open in rough short chop. I wonder if they just need to be adjusted. I think I ordered the new one from a cabinet place that someone on WC reccommended. Is it possible they are not strong enough. They were almost the same size as the old ones.

The ones we have in the Part Photos link is the same one that Matt has in his link. (Finnegan's Comment)
They have 2 adjustable screws on the springs for the balls of the closer. Tighten them just enough so they don't pop open in choppy water.
