Dsutley,

No I do not. I would try A&A Marine in Manistee Michigan. They have all kinds of miscellaneous parts and may have plastic or a glass globe that fits. You need one without the threading at the base of the globe. The image I have is one with the threaded globe base. When you contact them you will need to provide them with the diameter of the bezel it needs to fit into.

Tom,

Thanks for the clarification.
I have changed the description of the Perko Globe in the OEM Part Photos section to reflect that the Perko Globe started about 1977 models and later.

Here is a photo of a 1976 Montauk with the Kanier Stern Light.

Jeff or anyone else with a photo of the Kanier stern light globe that would like to submit it for the "OEM Part Photos" would be great.
All photos should be credited to their source whoever they may be.

Joe,

You have my photo now in separate pieces. When I grind down the Perko to fit, I will take another photo to show how the adaptation looks. I guess that is better than paying another $100 to replace the total pole and light fixture.

I am continuing to restore a '74, 13' Sport. In between glass and gel coat restoration I am working on hardware and wood issues. My stern light is believed to be the original, and I ordered a globe/lens for it from Specialty Marine. It does not fit my fixture because the diameter is too large. See the link below. I could grind it down and make it fit, but does anyone know if and where you can purchase one that will fit. I have compared this one to a Perko and it is the same size.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to make this address a clickable link.

I have the exact same stern light shown in Jeff's post #5 on my 1974 Montauk.

It appears to be uncut and measures 38 inches to the top of the globe and is perfectly straight.

Does anyone know the correct bulb I have to locate to fit it?

I am waiting for member Modenacart to get back to me with a measurement of his light to see if it is identical to mine. At least then if both of our lights are the same length it might be reasonable to assume that 38 inches is OEM for 1974.

I have purchased my light off another member. I will measure when I get it. I believe the one I am buying is coming off a smaller whaler though.

Also see this new article that Gamalot sent us.

Now we need to find out what original light bulb was used.

Thank you for posting that Joe, it might help some other members.

Now if I could just figure out why they put a cotter pin in there I'll be all set.

This is the best idea I can come up with for it.
