The 50 hp air silencer was then installed along with the remaining linkage assemblies. Once I had all of the new parts installed I re-adjusted the remaining settings to factory NS50D2 specifications (carb synchronization, throttle link, oil mixer link, idle mixture, and idle screw settings). The old carburetors cleaned up really nice and the project was pretty straight forward. The last item remaining is to change the 40 hp decal to a 50 hp decal. Tohatsu has discontinued production of the decals; however I found a place online that can reproduce the 50 hp decal for $15: http://garzonstudio.com/outboard/niss...issan.html
