Boston Whaler - Unused Holes Plugged
The old holes used for the prior engine mounting position (blind holes and extra holes drilled in upper engine mount) were plugged using 1/2" diameter plugs of 3/4" plywood and epoxy. The thickness of the plugs was matched to the thickness of the plywood embedded in the transom by Boston Whaler when the boat was constructed. The plugged holes were then filled with factory-matched gelcoat patch paste purchased from Spectrum http://www.spectrumcolor.com and sanded flush with the outer and inner surfaces of the transom.

Great job there! Curious, how did you access the inner cores in the lower section for patching/surfacing? The access pount on my outrage in modest, unless youre a leprechaun.
