Boston Whaler - Bilge Pump Install 4
With the mounting issue solved, next came wiring. I decided not to hard wire the pump for ease of service removal and cleaning. I again did some research and found an automotive grade 2 lead Weather-Tite connector that would work perfect for this install. I better sealed with marine silicone where the wire leads came out from the connector plug halves for added safety. Using heat shrink Butt-Connectors I finished the wire connection at the pump-end. Here's a view of the installed Weather-Tite Plug.
