drodg here, got the same boat, mines a 1970. obtained it when my dad died and it had sat out in the back yard of moms house for 20 yrs. my center console and bench were rotted out plus the motor was shot and the trailer rusted out. so basically i just had a hull. put a 48hp evinrude on it ,new aluminum trailer, and built a cosole out of plywood. very basic boat, but i wished i could restore it like yours. any help u could give me on plans for the center console and bench would be appreciated. great looking boat..

drodg, all the plans are available and located located in the download section with the exception of the Reversible Pilot Seat.

drodg, as Joe says, I made the console and deck from plans available on this site, and I make the reversible pilot seat by disassembling the old one and using the pieces as a template.

Sweet boat! Could you tell me how it handles a 115 HP. I have a similar Nauset 68 that I would like to repower with a new 4stroke. HOW FAST? if i may ask.

I have a 1963 model Sakonnet that I bought in 1971. The wood decking just rotted out a few years ago. This is beautiful, something to strive for.

I have been using specialty marine for fabulous reproductions of console RPS seats and even added to stern seat. Great products
