Sorry Nick I have not been watching this site as much as I usually do because I have been watching the spoil spill. But I am ready to go any time. I don't even have to reserve the weekends of high tide to fish because there is not going to be any fishing. So anytime is good for me and with the spill Lake P. is looking good for a Rendezvous. I have just purchased a map from the Lake Pounchatrain Basin Foundation to find the artifical reefs.

Sometiing that could be on the agenda could be a tour of the Maritime Museum a nice cool and intresting place on a hot afternoon, that is if there is a place to dock. I have not crusied the river in some 15 years and don't know how bad the traffic has gotten but it was a scenic cruise back then. along with the resturants and the little sand beach island across from the Madisonville launch, and if the prevailing Southwest winds don't make the lake too rough for the land lubbers maybe a excursion out in the lake, even watersking for those still young enough. If I can think of anything else I will post.
