Have someone available a detailed project (with measurements of the metal structure and of the awning) for self making a sun top of a 80's montauk 17?

If you're talking about a T-Top - I've been curious about what it would take to add one to my Montauk. I quickly abandoned the idea, as the boat is garaged (clearance issues), and there is a fair amount of discussion on this topic online.

With so many companies in the USA selling sun and bimini tops that fit this model, I don't think you will find a drawing.
Have you looked at the tops offered on the internet that are in Europe?

Check out the Bimi Tee Top. Back in March 2009
I submitted pictures of my montauk. The tee top comes off and it fits in my garage!
Go to bimiteetop.com
I have my antenna, lights, PA speaker etc on it.
You can mount electronics and pole holders also.
It mounts up or down in less than 10 minutes. A lot less expensive than a installed type t top.
Check it out, you will not be disappointed.
Phil T of South Portland Maine has the pictures I sent him of my montauk.
