I'm getting down to the business end of my restoration and gather items to order. What type or kind of rub rail works best for the Sport 13, the 2 piece or 3 piece?

What size Whaler logo for the rear ( I know Magic Brush can make them but I would like to know a rough measurement).

Non-skid. What texture would be most user friendly (fine, medium, etc.) or work best for normal lake use (kids playing, in and out of boat) I'm planning using Awlgrip.

If you're not going with the original style rub rail for your boat, I like the looks and utility of the 2 piece with the black insert.

What color are you going with for the interior of your boat?

The Barbour three piece rub rail would be easy to locate, inexpensive to purchase as a complete kit, well supported in terms of installation by many others who have already done one or more and is also an OE Whaler part. What more could you ask for?

The correct size decal will depend on the year of your hull.

on the nonskid I used a fine on my 15 footer. it looked great but held dirt a little. I could not always brush it clean I would run a pressure washer over it and it would look great. I am told that med to heavy will clean with less effort.

On my 13' '72 the logos are 4" by 14". I got new ones from eBay. I measured the original location if you need that. They were 10" from the stern and 4" down from the gunwhale. I'm still far from installing them.
It looks like most people get the original style rub rail from Twin Cities Marine. My '72 has a three part rail.
Your primed interior looks great. Are you going to paint or gel your interior? Jamestown Distributors has Awlgrip quarts mixed in "Whaler Blue" on their website. It is not listed in their print catalog.
