Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: how do i identify my whaler

I recently purchased whaler that was under resteration, the owner said their was no capicity plate or id numbers on the hull, the title looks like it has a new jersey repo title the numbers do not match the ones listed on this web site. the title says 1976 whaler 17 foot. its a whaler for sure . the title number ends in 0686 any ideas
