Don't get me wrong when I say amazing, I mean amazing, but it is not a boat that I have any desire to own. I have had boats up to 41' that we fished offshore and I don't think this Whaler could hold a candle to the comfort and the fishing setup my Viking had, it had room to sleep 6 with a galley, and I sure didn't pay $450,000 for it. All of the fancy electrical hatches and doors are nice, but probably not practical for ocean fishing. All that being said, I still think it is an amazing boat! :)
